Third Japanese reactor restarts
Kansai Electric Power said it restarted Takahama No.3 reactor on Friday, making it Japan's third unit to resume operations after passing stringent safety checks imposed following the Fukushima disaster.
Kansai Electric also aims to restart Takahama No.4 reactor in late February, while Shikoku Electric Power Co is projecting to restart the Ikata No.3 reactor in the next business year starting in April.
Nobody is really paying attention to the fact that Japan is slowly but surely restarting its reactors. However this fact coupled with the continued build out of the worlds nuclear plant fleet means that sooner or later we will see a significant increase in the price of uranium.
