Predator drones now being used against US citizens

At least it wasn't armed.....yet

Armed with a search warrant, Nelson County Sheriff Kelly Janke went looking for six missing cows on the Brossart family farm on June 23. Three men brandishing rifles chased him off, he said.

Janke knew the gunmen could be anywhere on the 3,000-acre spread in eastern North Dakota. Fearful of an armed standoff, he called in reinforcements from the Highway Patrol, a regional SWAT team, a bomb squad, ambulances and deputy sheriffs from three counties. He also called in a Predator B drone.

As the unmanned aircraft circled 2 miles overhead, its sensors helped pinpoint the suspects, showing they were unarmed. Police rushed in and made the first known arrests of U.S. citizens with help from a Predator, the spy drone that has helped revolutionize modern warfare.

And yet people will still argue with me about living in a police state. I argued after 9-11 that the government would use the event as a pretense to create a national security state. That is exactly the path we are now on. Everyone of these police forces runs around with automatic weapons doing no knock searches and shooting down innocent Americans who wake up and try to defend their home from persons unknown. In many of these cases the police have the wrong house or they never find anything yet they kill people in cold blood and nothing ever happens.

Let me propose a scenario; some enterprising young guys are going to see these predator drones flying around and will use a remote controlled plane to crash into the predator drone and bring it down. Is the government than going to use helicopter gunships and other drones armed with missiles to "take out" these "domestic terrorists". I mean this is some seriously evil stuff going on people. If we ever do get another terrorist attack like 9-11 they are going to lock this country down like a prison and they now have the apparatus in place to do it.
