Taxation is Theft

I have made this argument many times to many people. I will ask people if is ok for me to hold them up at gunpoint because I need an operation or a pair of shoes and they will agree it is theft. However most people will balk when I then extend the example to government. For some reason they are unable to extend the logic to government or the so called democratic process of voting for your neighbors wealth.

Precisely why I am maintaining a "zero income tax balance" by remaining "under-employed". This does not avoid SS or Medicare tax, nor sales and local taxes, but it does help to starve the monkeys. For the rest, I buy as little as possible from stores, instead ordering online, and avoiding sales tax (when shipping costs do not meet or exceed tax). Plus, I no longer "own" real estate. True, I do pay property tax via rent, but I can leave any time I want without having the property noose around my neck. Starving the monkeys any way I can...
